We are always asked by the Cram app users, which other apps do we suggest.

As there are an overwhelming number of options out there for the iPhone/iPod touch toting student, it can be somewhat confusing on exactly which apps to choose for your student lifestyle. As with anything else, there are just some apps that are better suited to fill a student’s iPhone or iPod touch and we have a few clear winners listed below. These apps are the apps we would personally use in our own student life.

Cram – Flashcard & Multiple-Choice Study App

FlashCards Deluxe is a flash card study app that helps you prepare for tests and quizzes with flash cards and multiple-choice practice tests.

Don’t feel like creating your own study material? Simply download a pre-made study set from the thousands of sets available for download on Quizlet or Flashcard Exchange.

Evernote – Notetaking App for Students

Evernote takes those typed class notes, audio notes of your instructor’s lecture, and the image of the whiteboard in your classroom and saves it all in one place. Evernote goes the extra mile and gives you the power the actually search all of the notes, no matter what type.

Evernote is available on the Web, Windows, iPhone, iPod Touch, BlackBerry, and Android, which makes it perfect for accessing your notes on any and ALL of your devices. All you need is a free Evernote Account and the app downloaded on your device and you are good to go.

Grades

Grades helps you calculate the score you need on all your tests, quizzes, and class assignments to achieve the grade you desire in your classroom. This app is a handy tool to help you achieve the ultimate goal in your class – an “A”.

iStudiez

iStudiez keeps your student schedule organized. which will help you figure out just how long you have to procrastinate before you actually study.

Mathemagics – Mental Math Tricks – Blue Lightning Labs

Mathemagics is an app that will help you brush up on your mental math. Mathemagics gives you tips on how to improve with your mental math and challenges to help you check your progress. Mathemagics is perfect for preparing for class and standardized tests.

Graphing Calculator

Graphing Calculator is pretty much self-explanatory – it’s a graphic calculator app. Graphic Calculator is filled with features. It includes a scientific calculator, finds the exact (x,y) coordinates for intersections, roots, minimums and maximums, and allows you to display your graphs on a TV, projector, or computer monitor.

Dictionary.com

Look up definitions with the Dictionary app, by Dictionary.com. The Dictionary iPhone app not only helps you find the definition to the words on your vocabulary list, but also finds other words with the built in Thesaurus tool. Dictionary also features spelling suggestions, audio pronunciations, and a way to save words on your favorite word list.
