I never thought I’d be writing a list of alternatives to Cram…but it’s happening, lol. If you are a student out there looking for an alternative solution to the now discontinued Cram for Mac or Cram for iPhone I have provided some suitable suggestions below. Quite frankly, only one of them have Cram’s multiple-choice testing feature, so if you are looking for that I don’t have many great solutions for that at the time (although I’m sure someone will have a great suggestion in the comments that I can later add to this post).
As for flashcard study apps, there are plenty out there and here are some of the best.
Hello all,
A lot of you have emailed with the most amazing ideas for feature updates and we’ve considered them all, unfortunately we have decided to discontinue the development on Cram at this time.
SimpleLeap Software will continue to have new apps developed in the future, but Cram will no longer be sold and updated. read more…

We’ve been MIA for a minute now. Partly due to Cram’s new direction and our new game company keeping us both pretty darn busy.
Anyway, we all know it’s close to back to school time and Cram RARELY goes on sale (appx. 1 time per year) soooo…..we want to give both Cram for Mac and Cram for iPhone/iPod touch away FREE for one day! However, there is a catch. read more…
WARNING: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CRAM (there is some decision making about Cram going on right now, more on that waaaayyyy later)!

So…Goop as I may have mentioned, the first game from our new company Fine & Dandy Games! We’ve been working on our first game title for months and it’s FINALLY around the corner.
We are posting an invite to all the fellow Crammers out there since it’s summer break! We know you guys are surely studying over summer break and just need a little down time
. So why not spend some of that study break time playing a game.
We are looking for a few beta testers and personally wanted to invite the fellow Crammers first (or those that are reading the blog at the moment, HA!).
Of course you get the game for free and before anyone else as a beta tester.I mentioned you get it free, right?!
You can get the beta testing deets here! We will be contacting beta testers in about one week.

Yes, that’s right. We (Ashli and Patrick) started a new company, Fine & Dandy and we are ready to release our first game. Luckily the good news doesn’t end there. read more…

- Tons of bragging rights!
Hot on the heels of the release of the iPhone came an entire cottage industry that sprang up around Apple’s new device. Literally hundreds of cases in practically every conceivable color and style from dozens of manufacturers came on the scene to cater to the needs and desires of iPhone fanatics everywhere.
Ostensibly, a good case protects the iPhone from dust, water and scratches, but I’ll let you in on a little secret: the big draw of most cases is to allow iPhone owners to strut their coveted gadgets in style. read more…
It would be great to leave college debt free. Putting these apps to work can help a college student leave with a degree and no loans to repay. Most of the apps are designed to help college students find discounts, but others can be used to track expenses and keep the student from falling into the debt hole before their financial journey has even begun.

It feels like cell phones have been around forever, but the truth is they only began to become truly widespread around a decade ago. Cell phones have really come far since then – instead of being bulky pieces of plastic with bad reception, now we have sleek, sexy, tiny little things that are nearly as powerful as full size computers but can fit into your pocket.
Cell phones have advanced to a whole new level with the advent of the smartphone. Phones really can do everything now. New apps appear nearly every single day, each one attempting to make our lives just a little bit cooler or easier. There are apps for just about anything, including your car.
Here are five of the top iPhone apps for student drivers: read more…
